Smaltz's Harley-Davidson Inc. was established in 1993 by Bill and Karen Smaltz. Bill Smaltz, better known as "Stretch", had been a rider for over 51 years. He purchased his first Harley-Davidson® bike, an XLH Sportster® in 1967. Stretch and Karen, rode together for 38 years. They have one daughter, Kelly, who works at the dealership part time.
In April, 2008 Stretch passed away after a 12 year battle with cancer.

Customer Accommodations
At 26,000 square feet our building offers opportunities to provide customer comfort while waiting for service to be completed in the shop area. The showroom enables us to deliver wide selections of parts and accessories, MotorClothes® apparel, collectibles, and general merchandise, all under an open beam ceiling. To further maintain the motorcycle experience take a seat on our country front porch, with rocking chairs included, of course.

Our primary focus is on customer service. We treat our customers like welcome guests. We have grown our dealership on a reputation of being fair and honest. It is extremely important to us that our employees possess the passion for Harley-Davidson as much as our customers and we do.
Customer Satisfaction
Smaltz's Harley-Davidson and its employees have won eight "Bar and Shield" awards. This award is presented by Harley-Davidson Motor Company in recognition for outstanding performance at our dealership. This award is only given to 25 dealerships in the country and is the highest award that is given by Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
The Smaltz Community
Our Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Chapter continues to expand. We are proud to say our growth has taken us from a chapter that had six members in 1993 to one that now has over 250 active, supportive members. This H.O.G. chapter (Eagle H.O.G.) organizes rides every other week throughout the year in addition to holding an annual picnic and holiday party. Eagle H.O.G. guidelines are: family oriented, ride safe and have fun.
